these are a few of my favorite things

i've been eyeing quite a lot lately and the only problem is, the list is so long but my pocket is not.

crocs "prima ballet" slip on $30

i know, i know. crocs are a poor excuse for shoes but really, how can you pretend you're not secretly in love with these? unlike your normal flats, these are garunteed not to give you blisters. and you won't slip! you can wear them in the rain and mud and they won't get ruined at all!

kork-ease leather wedge, $155 and $175

after seeing these in the july 2006 issue of teen vogue, i instantly wished i wore wedges more. these kork-ease circa 1970 are definitely the best thing to come into my fantasy fashion world (yes, i have one and i know you have one, too) since dresses. these chunky wedges are SO versatile i can't even stand it! in fall, you can wear them with tights. nix the tights for spring and summer and you're good to go! too bad this is a bit out of my pricerange if i'm looking to purchase at least three things with my christmas money.

marc by marc jacobs patent wedge $295

i went to bloomingdales today and i saw these. again, i wished i wore more wedges. i instantly fell in love! these patent wedges would work with so much of the clothes i already have! instead of wearing my usual red ballet flats with my dress-leggings combo, i could throw these on and feel instantly chic (insta-chic, if you will). i am honestly infatuated with these shoes but too bad they're completely out of the price range.
FINAL SAY: although my love is deeper than my pockets for these "insta-chic" shoes, i cannot afford them.

j.crew pinwale cord roll-up short $78

i also went to j.crew today. these gorgeous cord shorts are a steep $78 but, again, so versatile! i can see myself wearing these every season of the year! i love them in navy and how cute would they look with the kork-ease wedges and a bright sweater (candy-hued, perhaps?).
FINAL SAY: cord is the perfect balance for spring's light and flowing fabrics

j.crew wild daisy camisole $48

my sister just got this and i'm so jealous of her! the adorable flower print is just what i was hoping for for spring and it's almost like another neutral! add a long-sleeve tee, jeans and flats and this cami is winter-ready. perfect with yellow bermudas and metallic sandals, i'll want to live in this all summer!
FINAL SAY: giant flowers and babydoll cut is just what we've been waiting for

lux knit babydoll dress $48, lux lovely knit sleeveless dress $48, lux flourescent patch pocket dress $58

these three lux dresses from urban outfitters are just what i've been looking for! perfect over jeans or leggings and longsleeve tees, i can wear these anywhere (if paired with the right accessories, of course). now the only problem is, which one do i want?

reebok flare fly hi top $100

all this week, i've been wishing i had some old-school cool sneakers just like these. my outfits have been kind of blah lately (except last night -- i had to make up for my fashion don't at school) and shoes like these would make any ensemble fashion-forward. i'm in love with the bright hues of these timeless sneaks and at $100, they won't break the bank.
FINAL SAY: old-school charm -- a good investment

leather foldover boot $88

i've been trying to find a good flat boot that i'll want to live in and these from urban outfitters are just what i've been searching for! the chocolate color will go with anything in my closet. and agian, these are the kind of anti-blah piece i need for my fashion rut. at $88, my mom would be happy for me to have these and so would my wallet.

leopard print mary jane $14

i have a pair of these cotton flats in bright aqua and i love them! they're so comfortable and lightweight, i feel like i'm not even wearing shoes! and at $14, these are a bargain for chic animal print that looks fah-bulous with any outfit.
FINAL SAY: finally, the cat dragged in something i can't live without!

BDG bright 5-pocket skinny pant $59

after seeing crayola-collored tsubi jeans on gemma ward in teen vogue, i've been trying to find a pair of bright skinny jeans that aren't so expensive. finally, my prayers have been answered by these BDG skinnies from urban outfitters! at $59, i could get 3 pairs of these gorgeous pants rather than one tsubi. please mommy, let me have another pair of skinnies!
